The sales record for a new apartment in The Hills has been eclipsed by nearly $1 million with a three-bedroom penthouse in Esplanade on Norwest Lake selling for more than $3 million.
The sale in the Capital Bluestone development surpasses the previous sales record of $2.35 million, which was paid for a penthouse in the Northpoint Apartment building in October 2014.
The anonymous buyers, are local residents who are looking to upscale their lifestyle while downsizing from their large block.
Capital Bluestone Executive Chairman Steve Grant said the sales record was great recognition from the local market that Esplanade offers purchasers something special.
