Captain Chris Smith is the Commanding officer of the HMAS Canberra and he talks about how he came to join the Defence Force. He thought he would just do it for a couple of years, but some 27 years later he is still there.
On Saturday 21 May, the HMAS Canberra will open its doors in support of NSW Kids in Need’s “World’s Largest Open House”. There is no entry fee to come aboard the HMAS Canberra but registration and a donation is required via the NSW Kids in Need website due to limited spaces.
